1) Read Don Norman’s The Design of Everyday Things (Yes the whole thing, available online through the library)
2) Post a 1 Discussion Question to Slack channel #everydaytthings for that reading
3) Read Designed for Use Ch. 11–14
Coding and tutorials
4) Mac users: Buy Sketch with educational discount (Link to instructions)
5) Take a Design Tool tutorial on Lynda.com. Either:
• Sketch Essential Training: The Basics (with Chris Converse)
• Photoshop for UX Design (with Dennis Meyer)
6) Codecademy: Learn Javascript finish the course Learn Javascript (Lessons 2–5)
